Stonegate Charitable Foundation
Stonegate Charitable Foundation, Inc. was created by Stonegate Bank in October 2007 for the support and benefit of charitable and educational purposes within the Bank’s market area.
Stonegate Charitable Foundation supports the communities in which it serves. In 2012 it established the Stonegate Charitable Foundation Community Service Award & Scholarship for high school seniors who have exhibited superior community service, while maintaining high academic achievement during their secondary school careers.
About the Stonegate Charitable Foundation Community Service Award & Scholarship
Instituted to support the volunteer and leadership potential of Florida’s youth, Stonegate Charitable Foundation, Inc. presents five $1,000 scholarships in each of the following school districts: Broward, Collier, Hillsborough, Lee, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach. Winners are selected by a committee comprised of Stonegate Charitable Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors and are announced in May of each year.
To be eligible for the award and scholarship, high school students must demonstrate outstanding volunteer performance in the community, a strong academic standing and financial need. Students must complete the scholarship application for the county in which they attend high school, submit a formal resume, and provide a supervisor recommendation.
